Provided writing, editing and consulting services for DO Something: Making Your Life Count by Miles McPherson (Baker), to be published in fall 2009.
:: writing and reporting
• Profiled Free Wheelchair Mission, a charity that manufactures $50 wheelchairs and distributes them to the poor, for World magazine.
• Examined the growth of comics and graphic novels in "C is for Comics" in YouthWorker Journal.
• Wrote "The Bunco Beauties" for Delta Sky magazine, highlighting grassroots fundraising for breast cancer research.
• Wrote unsigned selections for a Time-Warner /American Bible Society magazine project called The Mysteries of the Bible.
